At The Chess Initiative, we strive to ignite the passion of chess within everyone. 
We believe that the game of chess shouldn't be limited by any factors; anyone should be allowed to play the game at their own discretion.  

Action Plans

To nurture such a chess scene right here in San Gabriel Valley, we will...

•  Partner with other organizations with similar goals to ours.

•  Host educational workshops, for both beginners and intermediates.

•  Create casual tournaments for play.
