Staff Information Overview

Responsible for background set-up. For example, setting up boards and clocks, pairings--equipment will typically be provided, and keeping score.
🧑🏫 Instructor
Responsible for teaching chess to our members in workshops/meetings we host. Instructors can also join events as well (Events Page)!
📸 Content Ambassadors
Members of TCI who contribute to the socials of our organization in order to spread the message of chess.

Specific Staff Requirements
Chess Skills
We require any staff member should have at a basic understanding of the game. We require the knowledge of each piece's movement, checks and mates, special moves (castling, en passant, and promotion), resignations, and draws.
Responsibility
We require our staff and instructors to attend meetings whenever they can. We host events quite frequently, so it's absolutely essential that we have enough personnel to organize and host the events.
Punctuality
We ask our staff to please show up before the event to help set up. If you'll be appearing late or not coming at all, please inform us beforehand. There will be an interest form for the events, please don't fill it out if you're not going to show up.
These are the staff pre-requisites we'd like our staff to have, in order to provide high quality tournaments.
